Description :
This course provides students with insight into the basics of skills and knowledge in the areas of computer security required such as Risk identification, Participation in risk mitigation activities, Provides infrastructure, applications, information and operational security, Implementing security controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability , Identify appropriate technologies and products, Address security and incident issues, Work with awareness of applicable policies, laws and regulations whereby all skills and knowledgeand that will be studied in accordance with CompTIA Security + international certification standards.
Upon successful completion of this subject, students :
- be able to identify risk
- be able to participate in risk mitigation activities
- be able to provide infrastructure, application, information and operational security
- be able to apply security controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability
- be able to identify appropriate technologies and products
- be able to troubleshoot security events and incidents
- be able to operate with an awareness of applicable policies, laws and regulations
- Could take CompTIA Security+ SY0-401 in Pearsonvue testing center.
